Αθανασοπούλου - Κυπρίου Σπυριδούλα
Spyridoula Athanasopoulou - Kypriou holds a Ph.D in Systematic Theology from the University of Manchester where she also lectured on Christian anthropology and on Religion, Culture and Gender. She is now tutor of religious studies in Athens, Greece. Her publications include various articles on theology and literature (for example, "Beyond the death of the Christian novel: Literature as Theology" update in "Philotheos 6" (2006)); "Beckett s Not I and/or the art of living" in Marius Buning et al (eds), "Samuel Beckett Today/Aujourd hui 15, Amsterdam-New York: Rodopi, 2005, 311-323; "Samuel Beckett s use of the Bible and the responsibility of the reader" in Gaye Ortiz and Clara Joseph (eds) "Literature and Theology: Rethinking Reader Responsibility", New York: Palgrave Macmillan Press, 2006, 63-72 and "Beckett beyond the problem of God" Literature and Theology 14:1 (2000) 34-51) on feminist theology (for example "The reaction of the challenges of feminist theologies" update in "Gendering Transformations" Athens, Gutenberg and "The problem of inclusive religious language as a condition of woman s becoming devine: A critical approach s" "Studies in Religion-Sacred/Profane 6/7" (2005) 137-147) on philosophy of religion, on religious education and on the problem of religions in the public sphere.
